The books available on EBW Healthcare have been developed by leading health professionals, with the aim of providing simple, high-quality, self-teaching materials for nurses, doctors and students.

Under the general editorship of Professor David Woods, who originally developed the framework for these books at the Perinatal Education Programme (PEP), the books have been developed by PEP and by the Desmond Tutu HIV Foundation, and part-funded by those organisations and the non-profit organisation Eduhealthcare. In their final, published form the books are produced and distributed in print and online by Electric Book Works.
