This book is being developed by the Perinatal Education Programme. The working text is currently available through the Perinatal Education Programme on the International Association for Maternal and Neonatal Health (IAMANEH) website.

Manual 1 of the Perinatal Education Programme consists of 15 theory units and 9 skills workshops which address all aspects of maternal care. Most participants take a year to complete the manual.
